# docs/shots/laneB_r42 — Lane B, Round 42 §42.5 Seed **20261990**, headless Chromium (SwiftShader), 1280×720, fresh context per arm, port-isolated no-store servers. **BEFORE** frames are shot from a control tree: a HEAD copy of `web/` with `assets/`, `models/`, `vendor/` and every non-Lane-B `js/` subtree symlinked to the live tree, so another lane's mid-round work is identical on both arms. Measurements behind every caption are in `docs/LANES/LANE_B_NOTES.md` §42. | file | what it shows | |---|---| | `bench_seated_before.jpg` | The bench with its front **along the street** — measured 90.0° off the road on 60/60 benches. A rigged citizen seated on it, human-sized line (R10) from that citizen's own bone bounding box. | | `bench_seated_after.jpg` | **Same bench station** (edge 3, s = 14, side −1), **same camera pose**, after the fix: the plank runs across the footpath and the front faces the road (0.0°, 60/60). The sitter is still placed by Lane D's mirrored station rule, which is now 90° stale — shipped **un-retouched on purpose**, because that is the state until D imports `benchStops()` in 42.4. | | `bench_seated_after_dwired.jpg` | The same frame with the sitter re-seated off the **real bench transform** read out of the scene. This is what 42.4 delivers. | | `bench_geometry_ab.jpg` | The pure-geometry pair, crowd frozen (`DBG.freeze()`), same pose: the bench end-on vs broadside. **130 draws on both arms.** | | `streetlight_night_ab.jpg` | Night, crowd frozen, same pose: the lamp arm goes from pointing up the footpath (head gains 0.00 m toward the road, 0 of 89) to reaching over the carriageway (+1.05 m, 89 of 89). | | `bench_shots.json` | The station, camera pose, sitter id, measured stature and seated height for each frame. | **These are evidence, not goldens** — but unlike R41, a byte-hash golden is now *possible*: all five `dbg.js` bookmarks hash identically across three fresh boots on a `?classic=1` boot with `DBG.freeze()` called before the shot. See LANE_B_NOTES §42.5-C for the four-arm table and the conditions.
