Ten asserts in d.test.js. The reach rule (a post cleat yes, the carport beam
never, up a ladder never), the hold and its three interruptions, the read with
both halves of the trade priced through main.js's OWN collateral walk, and the
money split with a vacuity guard in both directions — the same four corners cut
cost $0 and blown cost $205, because a pin where both cases read zero is a pin
that is not working.
Two that exist because of what playing the night found. The shipped emergency's
rig is pinned as DATA — cb1 is a shackle and it is FLYING when you arrive,
because a carport corner already on the ground is a receipt and not a decision.
And every rig door main.js feature-detects on that path is asserted to EXIST:
failCorner, cutAway, seedClock, setFabric, plus attach's {at}. A feature-detect
is only safe if something checks the feature — `?.()` on a renamed method ran
silently for a whole sprint and looked exactly like a call.

Eyes on the cards found what the suite structurally cannot:
· the board advertised $57 while the dispatch quoted $114 one click apart — the
quote-vs-settle lie walking back in through an unreachable closure inside
boot(). pricedOffers is now the exported pure priceOffer(), rigRecordFor's
precedent, and the bug has its own pin.
· the emergency wore the same grey "callout" tag as the Tuesday alternative
beside it — the tell rule broken on the surface the tell rule is for.
· the invoice argued with itself: the ledger said CB1 "is not on you" and the
verdict blamed CB1. verdictFor now reads `yours`, and the ruling is extracted
as answerableFor() so the RULING is pinnable, not just its consequences.
· the shop lied by $20 — the session charged me for the cowboy's carabiners.
· "the Hendersons IS expecting you", live, on the ruling's headline line.
Gate 5 (A's half): collateralKeyClashes() turns D's second-rust-post landmine
into a tripwire carrying both harnesses' numbers. It reports and does not throw
(D and E are authoring in parallel), and it deliberately does NOT make
exposureOf dedupe — the card is the honest side, the failure route is what needs
per-instance keys, and matching a bug converts a loud disagreement into a quiet
lie.
⚠️ RETRACTED IN THREADS: my $180 balance measurement is contaminated. C found
SailRig.step accepts `t` and never reads it, so setPhase('storm',{at:30}) moves
the sky and not the cloth (4.12× understated load, 93× light rain). B must not
rule the garden bonus against my $38. The TELL survives — CB1 still blows at
t≈33 — the ECONOMY does not.
Selftest 539/0/0 — 522 + 17, the exact sum. 19 mutations, all red with their own
words, controls green.

One landing, three gates and Lane C's clock finding. (Not split: sail.js,
rigging.js and balance.test.js each carry work for more than one gate and a
per-hunk split would have been fiction.)
GATE 2 — THE VARIABLE IS `porosity`, AND THE LIAR WAS THE GAME.
`rig.setFabric()` has exactly one call site, `RiggingSession.commit(rig)`, and
the shipped commit path never reaches it: the rigging UI's commit() calls
onCommit and main.js's rigSail goes straight to rig.attach(). So
session.commit(rig) runs in TESTS AND BENCHES ONLY, and the sim's rig (built
once at boot as `new SailRig({anchors})`, porosity defaulting to 0) has flown
the waterproof membrane every night of every playtest while the panel, the
SCORE IT card, the HUD row, the invoice and every audit number said shade
cloth. The F key moved the paperwork and never the physics.

Row two is D's cold play AND the pin's own _playedReference (hp 55.7, p2 then
p3) to the decimal, reproduced in the shipped game. It also retires C's
"benches under-read the real UI by 5-15%, cause unfound": with the fabric held
equal, the bench and the FULL game chain agree to three decimals, two sites,
two storms. Debris hits on the sail: 0 — D's candidate ruled out by
measurement. Fixed on my side: commit() carries the fabric as onCommit's 4th
argument; dev_rigging.html picks it up, which is the shape of the one-line
pickup filed for A's rigSail.
GATE 3 — THE CLEAN BOUNDARY IS THE FUSE, NOT A PERCENTAGE. Same flight, two
corners, identical $15 shackles, same 3.2 kN rating:
p1 3.528 kN = 10.3% OVER -> HELD (over for 0.150 s)
p2 3.493 kN = 9.2% OVER -> BROKE (over for 0.400 s)
p1 peaks HIGHER and survives, so "peak within X% of rating" is wrong at every
X. sail.js never used peak — it burns a 0.4 s overload fuse. OVERLOAD_SECS /
OVERLOAD_RECOVER are exported and priceCandidate replays them per corner per
tier, so the audit and the sim now answer "will it hold" with one arithmetic.
AUDIT.MARGIN stops deciding anything and says why in its own comment.
GATE 1 — THE RIG YOU DIDN'T BUILD, AND THE KNIFE. `_releaseCorner` is now the
one definition of a corner letting go (it was open-coded twice); on top of it:
`failCorner` for a corner that arrived down, `cutAway` for DESIGN.md line 165
emitting A's requested `{t, corners, reason}`, and `session.inherit()` which
adopts somebody else's rig for $0 and keeps it out of the refund — because
week.js pays back half of every intact corner, so counting a stranger's steel
as yours would have the ledger PUNISHING the player for every corner they cut.
Neither a cut nor an inherited corner emits `break`: warranty must not chase a
corner you chose to let go or one you never hung.
LANE C's CLOCK FINDING, fixed. `_substep` samples the wind at `this.t`, which
attach() zeroes — safe only while the caller's clock starts with it, exactly as
attach()'s own comment says. An emergency opens at t=30, so the cloth would fly
the storm's first 60 s under a sky flying its last 60. attach() now takes
{at, wind} (seeded, or genuinely pre-flown so the drape and the pond are real),
seedClock() is the late door, and `clockSkew` makes any future drift readable
instead of silent — measured 90 N vs 655 N for the same rig entering at t=0 vs
t=40, which is the size of what was hiding.
+15 asserts, all node-verified; the two gate-2 pins mutation-checked both ways.
Seven new pins, ten new rows (the two assets also add dims/nodes rows).
Gate 4 — the tier:
· the frame BRACKETS the glass: footprint strictly contains the glasshouse's
on both axes, head clears the ridge by 0.47 m, all four eyes above it. The
tell is a measurement because the tell is a position.
· the 20 m read is METALNESS not lightness: powder-coat <= 0.15, galvanised
>= 0.6 as the control, and the paint the brighter base colour. An assert
whose stated reason is the mechanism, so the docstring cannot be "fixed"
the wrong way (S17's inverted-sign lesson).
· a NEW RUNG at 0.80, pinned against the MANIFEST not a literal: above the
pergola, below the post, collateral 'glasshouse', four agreeing sources.
· the APEX IS REACHABLE — this one was RED by construction before this
sprint, and its message says why. Plus the corollary: nothing but the
glasshouse may CLAIM its key.
· the wreck folds at one end, keeps its height, carries no glass, offers no
anchor, and is unpriced by ruling.
Gate 5 — D's second-rust-post landmine, disarmed at author time:
· no shipped yard gives two structures the same resolved collateral key
(mirrors structKey() exactly), and structure ids are unique — a duplicate
id makes structures.set() silently replace the first, which then never
renders, never bills and never wrecks with nothing said anywhere.
· every collateral an authored anchor names is OWNED by exactly one thing in
that yard. RULE 2's runtime twin: RULE 2 proves a key is priced somewhere
in the palette, this proves it is owned in the yard that names it. Zero
owners is the gutter bug reborn; two is the landmine.
Five negative controls witnessed red in the real harness, then green: the frame
un-bracketed, the paint turned galvanised, the frame claiming the glass's key,
the anchors no longer naming the glass (the pre-sprint state), and a second
corroded post in the pool yard. Counts held at 533 throughout, so nothing
vanished while other things were red.

NIGHTS ∪ POOL grew a third member this sprint, and an emergency is the member with
the most to hide: no forecast card, no quote, and a storm entered at a t nobody
walked up to. Both arms checked per entry — dispatchHonest(def, arriveAt) for the
storm-and-instant, pairingRefusal(storm, site) for the yard, because a read can be
perfectly honest about a storm and still be an invitation to a night nobody can
work, which is worse on a callout the player cannot decline once they are in it.
Read through a NAMESPACE import (board.EMERGENCIES), not a named one, so this file
survives the window where A's spine is on lane/a and not in my tree — a named
import of a not-yet-exported symbol is a hard module error, not a graceful no-op.
A's own reasoning for weather.midStormRead?.(), applied back at them.
Walks a FIXTURE mirroring A's §6 as well as the real table, so the gate is
exercised on known data TODAY rather than reading green off an absent import — the
calm-day vacuity that has now bitten this repo in three separate gates. Verified
against A's actual lane/a tree out of band: their one shipped emergency
(corner_block_emergency, night 5, storm_03_southerly x site_02_corner_block,
arriveAt 30) passes both arms, so the walk binds clean at merge. Three vacuity
guards, one per arm plus the late arrival.

A's §8 seam, built to their shape: an ordered {key, text} list the card maps, the
offerBand construction, reachable through weather.midStormRead?.() under a
namespace import.
THE INVERSION IS THE DESIGN. offerBand's sin is OMISSION — the board lied about
night 7 by printing two of the fields it held. A dispatch's sin is INVENTION, and
the consequence is that the read is SHARPER than a forecast, not vaguer: standing
in the yard you know the wind on your back to the km/h, so the present tense is
exact where the offer card was banded. What you do not have is the bureau's
numbers — how long it runs, the peak, whether a southerly lands at t=48.
So the read is ruled by TENSE. Permitted: NOW (exact, unhedged); THE VISIBLE
IMMINENT (a gust front crossing the grass — DESIGN.md line 149, a 1.5 s telegraph
horizon earned by looking); and THE PAST AS WRITTEN ON THE YARD — at t=30 you have
no memory of the storm because you were driving, but hail lying in the grass and
water standing on the flat are a record you did not have to be present for.
Integrals over [0, t] are honest; over (t, ∞) they are not. The future is
forbidden outright.
And the admission is mandatory: on an offer card a missing hail line means the
storm does not hail, on a dispatch it means nobody knows, and silence cannot tell
those apart. The read says so first and last, in constant words — the ignorance
line is unconditional because a line that appears only when there is something to
not-know becomes the very fact it claims not to have.
dispatchHonest(def, t) extends the gate: forecastHonest unchanged (no forecast
card is not a licence for an indescribable storm — it raises the bar, since the
read is the only description there is), plus the three things only an arrival can
get wrong. My own S17 filing was wrong and testing it said so: hail.size 0 was
already refused by validateStorm a layer up. The reachable hole is size ABSENT —
it passes every gate and defaults to the MIDDLE of the vocabulary, so the soaker
minus one field prints "marble stones" for its real 0.45 fine pea.
Pins +5 (527 -> 532). The strongest states the rule rather than policing a
vocabulary: THE READ AT t MAY NOT MOVE WHEN THE STORM'S FUTURE BEYOND t MOVES,
with a vacuity guard proving the mutations really do change the storm. Four
mutations red and restored.

setPhase('storm', {at}) is the whole engine change: windTime() already returns
phaseT during a storm, tick() already ends at STORM_LEN, so an emergency night
is 60s long inside weather that is already working. No new phase.
EMERGENCIES, scheduled per night, not a POOL entry — a seventh pool entry would
re-roll every night's draw, and the one-variable law needs an author to place a
set-piece. Diffed the whole week against HEAD: exactly one line moved, and what
it replaced was corner_block_southerly — the same yard and the same storm as an
ordinary job. The job type is literally the only variable.
⚖️ Rulings: emergency rate ×2.0 (DESIGN.md line 29, canon, UNMEASURED-by-play);
a corner that ARRIVED broken bills nothing, wrecks nothing, books no warranty
and costs no standing (`theirs` on the rig record — without it the game charges
you for a cowboy's carabiner and books you a free callout to fix his work); the
inherited steel does not come home; the ute carries one free spare, or triage is
a verb with no object.
THE ONE-VARIABLE LAW IS NOW CODE: oneVariableOffences() accuses, offersFor()
throws, three-way vacuity guard. E's glasshouse cannot be the emergency's debut
stage no matter who wires what.
The DISPATCH is defined by its refusals: no schedule, no total, no AMOUNT DUE —
nobody costed this job. It prints the call, C's mid-storm read (feature-detected
through a namespace import), the rig that is already up with the down corners
marked ON THE GROUND, and the rate. Pinned in DOM, refusals included.
Seams live and waiting: B's breakCorner door, C's midStormRead, D's cutAway
event (tallied, carried to the settlement, printed on the invoice).

The emergency callout arrives at t≈30, which makes a NON-ZERO START a first-class
case for the storm clock. Measured before writing anything, and the debris module
failed two ways that had nothing to do with the callout:
· the same storm flown twice through one module spawned DIFFERENT crates
(wildnight height 1.582 m then 1.165 m). main.js builds one debris module at
boot and clear()s it per phase change; clear() rewound the leaf accumulators
and not the piece PRNG. Live on main today — night 2 of the seven-night week
never flew night 1's crates, and no test looked.
· an entry at t=45, past the wildnight's t=38 event, gave every LATER crate the
skipped crate's height, spin axis and phase — the stream sat 5 draws behind.
Skipping history corrupted the future, not just the present.
One cause: a crate's jitter came off a shared stream whose POSITION encoded how
much history had happened. Keyed on the event itself now, so a crate is a pure
function of its event — the move weather.core.js's header already argues for.
debris.enterAt(t0, dt) for the one part that is a genuine path integral: the
ambient leaf layer. A t=0 run has 6 leaves crossing the grass at t=30 and a cold
entry has ZERO, staying becalmed ~7 s while the 2.5 s EMA climbs off zero —
DESIGN.md line 149 makes that moving grass the gust front's tell, and gate 1's
whole premise is that the grass is the only briefing a callout gets. It runs the
ladder rather than skipping it, and the ladder ACCUMULATES: i*dt is the more
accurate ladder and therefore the wrong one (1770 of 1800 steps disagree, first
at step six), because main.js, fixedLoop and sail.js all accumulate.
Pins: +5 (522 -> 527). Wind order-independence broadened to every storm and five
scalar observables plus the exact callout ladder, and a BACKWARDS peak scan
cross-checking what the dispatch will quote. All four mutations went red; the
first draft of the stormStats case could not fail (it memoises per def, so it was
comparing an object to itself) and was rewritten rather than shipped.

John's ruling, 2026-07-25 ("it adds pressure"), wired end to end.
REP.STOOD_UP = -0.5, the exact mirror of REP.CLEAN: a stood-up client costs
you what a flawless night earns. Bounded above by REP.COLLATERAL so a broken
promise cannot outrank a wrecked carport. UNMEASURED per house rule; it is the
lever, not CLEAN.
isBooked(kind, night) — the diary is booked, the phone is not, and an emergency
in the diary's chair is not a booking. The first cut derived it from the night
alone and the pool yard came back booked; the probe caught it in one call.
take() records the broken promise, settle() charges it at dawn — charging inside
take() drops standing between the board and the sheet, and the fee is priced off
standing. That is the quote-vs-settle lie moved one card earlier.
Three surfaces off one ledger: the offer card prints the cost before the choice
in the client's own terms, the job sheet says they have not forgotten, the
invoice carries an OFF THE BOARD block. Two callouts and no booked job reads as
free, in words, with a vacuity guard behind it.

Landed ON TOP of f029274 with not one line of it changed. Two Lane C sessions
ran gate 1 in parallel; I found out by having my push rejected. forecastHonest
answers "can the forecast describe this STORM" and is better than the storm-side
half I had written, so mine is deleted. These are the two things it structurally
cannot reach — it takes a def, not a pairing, and it never touches the card.
weather.js is +180/-0. The only line of theirs I touch anywhere is widening one
c.test import from { NIGHTS } to { NIGHTS, nightAt }.
1. THE OFFER BAND, and the finding that motivates it. A's card prints f.wind
and f.stones, and under that pair NIGHT 7 LIES:
soaker (scripted) gusts to ~55 km/h · fine pea stones
early buster (alt) gusts to ~76 km/h · pea stones
On both printed lines the soaker is the softer job. It is not: 14.9s of hail
against 2.4s, 44 mm/hr against 16.5. The soaker's whole design is that its
wind reads gentle and its hail is the trap, so the board recommended the trap
in the storm's own voice. offerBand(def, lead) returns an ORDERED LIST, so
the forecast decides which facts a night carries and a card cannot drop the
next one added — same construction as A's stormsToPreload(nights, pool).
Verified in the real card on :8826.
Second finding: storm_03 and storm_03b are identical in every number the band
prints except the change time (30s vs 18s), and the board offers exactly that
pair on nights 5 and 7. Without the change line it offers two indistinguish-
able jobs and calls it a choice. Pinned.
2. PAIRING_LAW. A band can be perfectly honest about a storm and still be an
invitation to a night nobody can work. A's three POOL exclusions were prose;
promoted to checked data with the measurement in each message, credited by
owner (the soaker's is mine with the S16 ~31% receipt; wildnight and icenight
are recorded as A's reasons, not re-measured by me). Absent key = unrestricted
deliberately — inventing a refusal for a pairing nobody flew is the same
offence inverted, and that direction is pinned too. pairingRefusals is NOT a
filter: silently dropping an entry is a runtime surprise wearing a fix's
clothes. Walks NIGHTS u POOL carrying the SITE: 12 pairings, 0 refusals, with
a vacuity guard in the same case.
Mutation-checked on THIS tree after the code changed address: hail line dropped
(RED, names the storm and the seconds), soaker restriction deleted (RED x2,
including the vacuity guard), change line dropped (RED, names the two busters).
All restored, 494/0/0.
Filed in THREADS, not landed: the hud/main hunk for A (leadFor precedent), and
a floor for stoneWord — hail.size 0 words itself "fine pea stones" because
stoneWord has no floor. Their STONE_WORD_CEILING fixes the top of that range;
nothing fixes the bottom. It belongs inside forecastHonest, which is theirs.

- forecastHonest(def): "a storm the forecast can't describe honestly doesn't
get offered" as a predicate, not a sentence — validator + measurable stats +
the stone vocabulary ceiling (STONE_WORD_CEILING 2.0: past it, "golf ball"
undersells the ice and the word ambushes where the band can't). The band-
containment recomputes are disclosed as structural regression armour, not
counted as coverage.
- c.test walks NIGHTS ∪ POOL from the shipped data (the union, per A's
stormsToPreload finding — a pool-only storm is covered the day it exists).
Negative controls: a lying windchange, a cricket-ball stone, both refused
by name. Lead-0 card pins: the offer card's gust/sustained figures parsed
back out and matched against stormStats; a lead-0 offer must not hedge.
- The exposure cross (the S14 pin pattern, third outing): my failure-route
envelope (built world, anchor collateral keys through world.collateralFor,
the gnome per scoreRun) vs A's exposureOf — item-level equality on ALL
THREE yards: backyard 115, corner block 205, swing lawn 255. Zero unpriced
keys. Teeth proven in-suite: strip the carport key and the cross reds.

Gate 0 rulings (written, with reasoning, in THREADS):
- 0.4 hail-light balance: CANON. B's finding reproduces exactly ($4/$2 garden
spread), but the mild-night rig market buys the STEEL and the collateral, not
the bed — a cheap rig that fails on site_02 swings $184 and two stars against
the same rig holding, and the cheapest HOLDING line is $40, not the $20 floor.
Ruled for B's option (b): the separation block asks the wrong question on
those nights; the new shape is B's and is NOT this sprint. Rain drain-weight
lever declined at its proper price (full gauntlet re-measure, own gate).
- 0.4b gradeFor scraped/solvent >=3 STANDS on the seven-night shape, ruled on
the arithmetic (savable 6 → solvent is 4-6 dead, which is what the copy says).
- 0.3 score-header wording consulted for B (no code from me).
Gate 1 — the board: board.js (pure data, node-testable), week.offers()/take(),
seeded from week+night via contracts' mulberry32 — no Date.now, no Math.random.
An offer carries a whole NIGHT ENTRY and take() installs it, so sheet, quote,
invoice, ledger, warranty, rep and end card all read a chosen job through the
path they already had — seven surfaces, zero changed lines. Scripted spine runs
byte-identically when nothing is taken.
Gate 2 (data half) — constraints as night data, checked enum, premium ruled
(+25% anchor ban / +20% budget cap, both UNMEASURED and flagged cut-first),
stated on the offer, the job sheet and the invoice it was paid under. ONE
calloutFee() now serves quote() and settle(). Enforcement is B's.
Two bugs found off the suite: take() stored raw pool entries (crashed quote()
on a missing pay block) → normaliseNight() split so both doors share it; and
NIGHT 1 HAD NO BOARD — the splash bypassed it — found by looking, not testing.
Pool pairings audited in the browser before shipping; both constraints checked
for soft-lock against real holding lines.
Mutation-checked ×6. One did NOT go red: "every pool storm is preloaded" passed
with the POOL source deleted, because every pool storm is also in NIGHTS — the
same coincidence that hid the calm-day bug. stormsToPreload(nights, pool) split
so it can fail. Selftest 485/0/0 (474 + 11).
Recovers an interrupted session and finishes its verification honestly.
RESTORED (the predecessor was killed mid-mutation-check):
- build_sail_post_corroded still had negative control M1 APPLIED — clean
galvanised steel, DROOP=0 — so both shipped GLBs were the untelled post.
Restored: steel_weathered/rust/rust_deep, DROOP_DEG = 38.
- asset_report.json held 1 of 37 assets and contact_sheet.png was a 196 KB
truncated write. Both were interrupted artifacts, not decisions; a clean
rebuild restores 37 assets and a 5.07 MB 1680x4200 sheet.
DETERMINISM: 37/37 GLBs byte-identical across two consecutive full runs;
report and contact sheet byte-identical too. Zero churn on the 35 pre-existing
GLBs.
ASSERT THAT COULD NOT FAIL, KILLED: the sag pin (honestY - corrodedY > 0.05)
reads 0.060 at ZERO droop, because the eye hangs off a weld line 160 mm down
the post — measured on the M-B build, anchor at (0, 3.920, 0). It measured the
weld offset and called it a sag. Replaced with the droop ANGLE derived from
the exported anchor and pinned to baked extras (padeye_droop_deg / arm_m /
weld_y_threejs / dir_threejs), all stated in three.js coords — the axis trap
closed the swing_set way, so note and mesh can only lie together.
ASSERT WHOSE REASON WAS BACKWARDS, FIXED: the 20 m pin claimed the corroded
shaft read darker. Measured off look.html's canvas at 20 m: honest lum 50,
corroded lum 94 — it renders twice as BRIGHT. Base colour is darker but
metalness drives the pixels (gal 0.90/0.35 goes near-black with no env map;
weathered 0.55/0.60 is diffuse). Test now pins both halves and names the
mechanism the player actually sees.
Three tells split into three tests so one failure cannot mask the others —
pre-split, the M-A mutation went red on rust area and never reached the
lightness or droop asserts at all.
Mutation-checked in the browser, all three witnessed red: M-A clean steel
(1/3 + 2/3 red, 3/3 green, factory GREEN throughout — the trap it cannot see,
confirmed); M-B flat eye (3/3 red, others green); M-C baked note lies while
mesh is honest (3/3 red, proving the pin reads the extra, not a literal).
Selftest 483/0/0 (474 baseline + 9 exactly). Tell verified by looking at
20 m at the game's own camera height, screenshots taken.

reproduces the S14 card to the digit (81 quads, 11 clean/16 marginal, cheapest
honest $65 h3,t2,t2b,p1 85.3 FULL, bare 83.7, best clean 90.0, sep +6.3,
best-reading 91.8 MARGINAL). Nothing moved; nothing to fix; B's PIN REFUSED
(measured) card renders the finding on this yard.
- NIGHTS is six: gentle, southerly, earlybuster(s02), SOUTHERLY over the SWING
LAWN (new site, survived storm), icenight (flag intact, no longer final),
SOAKER over the CORNER BLOCK (C's measured pairing). Two new briefs: Ruby's
swing set sells the crossbar trap; the Vasilaros return sells the cloth
default the forecast argues against.
- THE STRUCTURAL CONSEQUENCE, filed loudly: six slots cannot hold five old
storms + a survived-storm debut + the soaker. The WILD NIGHT leaves the
rotation (every other candidate is load-bearing); storm file, tests and the

Gate 3.1 pins (c.test): the soaker over site_02 through gardenfly, porosity
the only variable — bare <30 (17.5), best cloth line <50 (42.3, still >bare:
the leak is partial), same $75 ring on membrane >90 FULL (96.5) with lost<2
and cost<=80, $60 membrane ring wins too (68.8), separation >40 (54.2). The
inverse guard: membrane on carabiners reads WORSE than cloth (19.1/3 lost vs
24.5/2) — the F key is a bet, not an upgrade. Gate 3.3: forecastLines grows
stones + rainRate (worded, banded); stormStats.hailSize + forecastFor
hail.size band, spread 0.30, nesting/truth-holding pinned in the resolving
loop; existing card fields byte-identical (new band draws last). storm_06 in
STORM_KEYS + suite STORMS (sync assert is the tripwire). Envelope tool flown:
throat 21.55 @ 59.2, q1 17.78 (rated slot), q2 wind-coldest yet cloth-side

stormgen.js: envelopes are authored data (every knob a range, knot times
fixed), a seed picks one storm via a single mulberry32 stream in a pinned
draw order. Same seed → byte-equal def; def carries its seed so the gust
timeline downstream is seeded by the same number. checkEnvelope() recomputes
membership FROM THE DEF (never trusts the generator) and also runs the storm
validator. One family ships: soaker_family, ranged around storm_06's measured
personality. Cases ride the shared node+browser list: byte-equal determinism,
100 seeds all valid + all inside (gustPeak spread 12.8-17.2 across seeds),
four named escape routes red-not-shrugged, valid-but-off-family storm red
(checkEnvelope is not the validator in a hat), change event === physics for
sampled seeds, and two fixed-seed generated storms ride the SAME telegraph/
continuity/validator gates as authored ones. Node suite 72/0. Mutation check:
rng → Math.random went red on the byte-equal case, restored, green.
week.js: REP (stars, half-steps, x1+0.04(rep-3) fee multiplier), warrantyItems()
derived from the previous settlement's rig record so quote==settle holds by
construction; rep moves at dawn of the night that earned it and never reads the
garden. main.js: rigRecordFor (exported value — the tally remembers what
repairCorner's cleared flag forgets), night break/repair tally, rep on the
forecast call. hud.js: rep under the ABN on job sheet AND invoice, warranty
lines on both papers worded per spec, fee-row multiplier the night it applies,
rep line under the verdict, end card speaks rep + shows warranty receipts,
C's gate-3.3 forecast print seam (inert until they land). a.test: 8 new tests
incl. the clean-week negative control. Selftest 426/0/0 in the browser.

editor_stormsel.js -> editor_storm.js (B's name); globalThis.EDITOR_STORM
(B's name); setStorm/setTime carry B's source tag in the payload; default
becomes B's storm_03_southerly at my receipted t=40 (the pin stays pinned
in c.test — it never needed to be the default, and the c.test assert now
pins the CONVERGED pair instead so a private default cannot regrow).
Zero-delta second harness: envelope.html week mode, both shipped yards,
all five nights vs my S13 tables — byte-identical everywhere (site_02 x
earlybuster all 11 rows; backyard h1-h3 Pa/hint 266/946-1037/2093-2505/
1844-1933; branch ladder 0.88/0.76; t1 southerly 15.45). Measured on
lane/c @ gate-2.2 commit atop main c182fc1, pre-E-re-bake; zero expected
under the 1.00 ruling, zero measured, nothing to flag.

The store: one owner for 'which storm, which second' on the editor page.
Garbage keys refused loudly, no-op writes silent (the anti-ring guard that
lets a subscriber clamp from inside its own handler), listener errors
contained, default = the gate-2.3 pin (wildnight @ 60 s). editor.wind.js
drops its private stormKey/time and re-exports the store's STORM_KEYS —
one list, same array. B's editor_score.js patch proposed in THREADS.
Polish (my call): JUMP TO WORST SECOND — argmax of speedAt over grid ×
storm, venturi throats passed as exact probes, dt = the scrubber's own
0.5 s step. Writes the SHARED second. site_02 × wildnight: 51.11 m/s
@ 60.5 s at (-7.5, 0), the funnel plateau, found by scan not patience.
Selftest 413/0/0 (410 + 3). Five mutations red-then-green: no-op guard
off, validation off, singleton doubled, comparator flipped, probes
dropped — each reds its own assert with its own message.

Gate 1.1 RULED in THREADS: the honest post is 1.00 — the shipped value
becomes canon, E re-bakes to match, and the adoption mechanism must make
a baked hint reach JSON-declared anchors (same integration, no 0.90
window). B's re-measure becomes a zero-delta verification.
Gate 3: numInput/textInput commit on Enter (idempotent — a no-op commit
pays no rebuild); boundsFaults() rides the validation cache so header,
panel and export read one measurement, export leads with _OUT_OF_BOUNDS
(not _INVALID — that key's sentence would lie); the yard rectangle draws
as an amber line where fence-off sides hid it; +/- zoom on the wheel's
own curve; separation ruled a measured pin with the SITE panel saying so.
New a.test mutation-checked both ways in the browser harness. 410/0/0.

The pin (co-owned with B, probe/second moved and argued in THREADS):
site_02_corner_block / storm_02_wildnight / the authored throat centre
(-6,0) / t=60.0 / exact ===. B proposed backyard_01, the garden bed and
t=30; all three are places the funnel contributes ~nothing (backyard_01's
venturi is [], the bed measures 0.0000 m/s of funnel even on site_02, and
t=30 is worth 0.4%), so that pin could not have failed. A vacuity guard
now asserts the funnel is worth >25% AT the pin, so it cannot rot back
into decoration.
Also fixed, found by looking: editor.wind rebuilt its wind in commit()
rather than on 'change', so any EXTERNAL mutation + markDirty() re-rendered
the panel against the previous site's wind. The readout kept insisting a
restored gap was 24% aligned. Refresh moved to the listener, so the overlay
is a function of the site as it is, whoever changed it.
368/0/0 (362 baseline + 6). All six mutation-checked in one run: dropping
setVenturi from windForSite reds the pin (31.60 vs 47.38 m/s), the guard
and the sweep; normalizeAxis as identity reds the fold; drifting the
shelterAtten mirror 0.5 -> 0.62 reds the volume assert.
Two chains built independently — GAME (loadSite -> createWorld -> dress ->
windForSite) and EDITOR (siteClone-shaped object -> buildScoringWorld ->
windForSite) — asserted EXACTLY equal at t=30, speed and vector, at every
probe on both shipped yards. Exactly, not nearly: a tolerance is where the
funnel-off bug hid, and it moved the S13 headline 91.5 -> 39.8.
The mutation checks caught my own probe TWICE before this went green, which is
the only reason it is worth anything:
1. I proposed backyard_01 in THREADS. It declares venturi: [] — no funnel to
lose, so a funnel-off regression could never turn it red.
2. So I moved to site_02 — and its BED is 6.08 m from a radius-5 throat.
Starving that yard of its venturi moved the bed probe by 0.000 m/s.
Both versions passed their equality assert and both were worthless.
Measured sensitivity on site_02/earlybuster at t=30 (funnel on/off, trees
present/hidden):

Mutation-checked: starving the editor clone of its venturi turns the @throat
equality red (plus both funnel asserts), while bed/tree stay green exactly as
the table predicts.
Also recorded as a pin, because it is load-bearing for anyone reading the
score card: the corner block's funnel does NOT reach its garden bed. It is
aimed at the rigging zone (the site JSON says so: q1 is 3.5 m inside the
radius), so on that yard the funnel is a hardware-load story, not a
garden-exposure one.
Selftest 374 passed / 0 failed / 0 skipped (362 baseline + 12).
Gate 1.5 -- the round trip. a.test drives the editor's OWN placement function
(placeEntry, exported for exactly this) through
template -> place -> export -> parse -> validateSite -> createWorld -> dress,
then asserts the GLB-backed anchors ADOPTED and the carport's 0.22/0.30 came
out the far side. Mutation-checked with five deliberate breakages; four went
red and ONE DID NOT -- the key-order test shuffled only root keys, every one
of which is in KEY_ORDER, so the alphabetical fallback it claimed to protect
was never reached. Rewritten around unknown keys, re-mutated, red in both
halves. A determinism test that passed while testing nothing.
Picking bug, found by dispatching real PointerEvents rather than reading the
code: clicking an object's FOOT selected nothing, because the pick handle is a
cylinder centred 1.7 m up and from a raised camera the ray has already run
~2 m horizontally by the time it climbs there. pickRef now falls back to
nearest-placed-thing within 1.3 m of the ground hit -- camera-angle
independent, so it can't rot when the pitch changes.
Phantom sail (pool, filed unlanded in S13) -- LANDED and negative-controlled.
Teardown factored into disposeSailView() and called from loadSiteInto before
refreshCameraSolids (which reads sailView and would re-register a disposed
mesh as a camera collider). Rig state goes with the view. Verified through the
real game both ways: with the fix removed the cloth still hangs over the
corner block, screenshotted.
Dev-line (pool) -- two findings, both landed. The line counted `pieces` only,
so it read "debris 0" while seven leaves flew; now reports both populations
off C's leafCount. And index.html's boot-failure handler wrote into #dev,
which is display:none off localhost -- so a failed boot on partly.party showed
a stranger a blank page. It has its own visible #fatal element now.
E's gap 2, runtime half -- and it was worse than "one click away": nextId
namespaces structures s1, s2..., so the FIRST carport the editor places was
already free. collateralFor/wreckStructure/isWrecked now resolve through
structKey (site collateralKey, then GLB collateral_key, then id last so every
existing site is untouched). Negative-controlled: id-equality prices an
editor carport to null. E's tie_off:false honoured at both ends. E's swing set
and jacaranda are in the palette behind a `requires` gate, so they switch
themselves on when the ANCHOR_TYPE widening merges.
Also: `return t.skip(msg)` is a fake pass -- Suite.skip pushes a new result and
lets the current test record as pass. a.test had six; all converted to the
documented 'SKIPPED --' idiom.
Selftest 373/0/0, no skips.

SPRINT14 gate 3.1. The editor is about to offer these GLBs to an author by
name, which turns every silent field in them into a trap for whoever places
one. Audited the placeable set, fixed the gaps in the factory (nothing
hand-edited), and added the two props D needs to author a yard worth playing.
THE AUDIT, and what it found:
- Four `*_anchor` nodes carried no rating_hint at all — door_anchor,
pickup_anchor, grip_anchor, window_light_anchor. adoptAnchor does
`rating_hint ?? 1`, so silence there does not mean "unrated", it means
RATED PERFECT: a shed door skin outranking a concreted post, conjured out
of a missing field. They now deny it explicitly (`tie_off: false`).
- The carport's price resolved only by coincidence: collateralFor() matches a
STRUCTURE whose site id equals the anchors' collateral string, and site_02
happens to name its structure "carport". The editor will generate
"carport_2" for the second one, and the trap would have gone free — the
gutter bug reborn in the sprint meant to bury it. The GLB now carries
`collateral_key`, like the house does for "gutter". Lane A: the runtime
half is yours (collateralFor could fall back to it).
- The trampoline is unpriced, and now says so rather than omitting it.
Three new rules make the audit permanent, and each is proven able to fail:
no silent anchors, no collateral string nobody prices, no baked anchor_type
outside the checked ANCHOR_TYPE enum. Rule 2 found the carport gap on its
first run — an unfaked negative control.
THE PROPS:
- swing_set_01 (+ wrecked) — the palette's honest middle. It had a ceiling
(gum fork 1.0) and a trap (carport beam 0.22) and nothing in between. Two
apex anchors at 0.45, typed `swing_frame` (NOT `post`: the type string is
what the player reads before committing, and "post" promises concrete),
and a crossbar that is the most anchor-looking object in the game and is
not one. Priced at $140 — proposal, reasoning baked beside it, A rules the
number: gnome 25 < gutter 90 < swing 140 < carport 180.
- tree_jacaranda_01 — a second species whose LADDER is the feature.
Gum: 1.00/0.88/0.76, climb freely, pay 24%.
Jacaranda: 0.95/0.52/0.40, climb at all, pay 58%.
That makes tree choice a real decision instead of "is there a tree".
Unpriced by ruling, same as the bike: no limb-failure event exists to see.
Both wreck/orientation claims are measured in browser coords, not reasoned —
`wreck_falls_toward: "+Z"` is baked AND asserted against the mesh.
Selftest 376/0/0. Two consecutive full factory runs: 44 files byte-identical.
- Played night 4 on the pinned line through the real UI (D's protocol):
hp 55.7 WIN, 2/4 lost, pyrrhic verdict — the ~8 gap to the sim chain is the
t=38 crate + ponding landing on p2's 4% margin. Ruled deliberate: the wild
night sells no clean line; the pyrrhic win is the intended reading.
- Site block records _playedReference; a.test pin re-labeled as the
deterministic sim-chain tripwire whose margin is what keeps the PLAYED
night over the win line. Band 18-45 ruled an availability floor (B's 1c).
- THREADS: full second ruling, night-5 canon, Sprint-14 notes.
- a.test's separation flight had the phantom 12 s settle B caught (SailRig
samples wind at its INTERNAL clock; the storm flew 12 s off the authored
curve). Settle deleted — commit->attach->storm from t=0, C's corrected bench
pattern; venturi wired from site data so the flight can never assume a yard.
- Game-true the line reads 63.6, not 68.3 — FULL (>66) was met by the harness,
not the game, and the re-sweep says nothing buyable reaches 66 (the twin-post
covering quad tears at 6.9 kN). Target RESTATED to the game's real stakes,
with headroom: held >60 and 0/4 (win line 50; measured 63.6), bare <50
(35.7), separation >=25 (27.9). Field names kept — B's gardenfly reads them.
- DESIGN CANON in the site block: the wild night's garden is WON SCARRED,
never FULL; the week's arc is full/full/full, won-tattered, beyond-saving.
- p5 _why table corrected to game-true numbers (first sweep ran ~4 HP hot).
The scoring quantity is the FLOWN garden state now, not static cover%.
New gardenfly.js: windForSite (C's shared builder — venturi + shelters, one
copy in the repo) → real attach (throws on D's skipped-attach trap) → skyfx
exposure → garden.js, per candidate line; cover% demoted to a labelled
geometry diagnostic. audit.html flies every affordable line + bare bed and
judges the site's pinned separation block on the block's own storm; audit.mjs
(node) keeps fast winnability, gains p5 in its verified dump, and points at
the browser for garden truth.
On C's correction, three structural adoptions:
- windForSite everywhere (three harnesses independently mis-built site wind;
no fourth copy);
- LIVE anchors via the re-pointable wind proxy — the audit's own frozen-sway
remap was C's landmine 2 wearing my file's name (audit.html:69);
- the MARGIN rule (AUDIT.MARGIN = 0.15, one copy): every row prices twice —
$hw holds vs $cleanHw with >=15% headroom — and only clean lines are
winners; verdict code 'marginal-only' when the budget can only buy the
knife edge (D's 39.8-TATTERED wild night, C's dead 91.9 headline).
Also game-true flight: the phantom 12s calm settle is GONE from the sweep
(commit->attach->storm is one keypress; the settle skewed every storm sample
12 s off the authored curve — SailRig samples wind at its INTERNAL clock).
That skew is not academic: it is a.test's separation-flight harness too, and
gardenfly.selftest now pins BOTH chains (game-true 63.8 tattered vs skewed
68.4 'full' on the pinned p5 line — the disagreement is flagged to A in
THREADS, not overruled here). The pinned recipe also sweeps regardless of the
18-45 band (it is 45.9 m² — the band predates p5; flagged to A).
Selftest 356/0/0 on the scratch merge (b+a+c@45bdc2d). Mutation-checked:
MARGIN=0 reddens the margin test (node); dropping siteDef from gardenfly's
windForSite call reddens the venturi test (browser, exact test named).

garden_probe.html drops its TEMPORARY COPY of HAIL_WEIGHT/RAIN_WEIGHT/
GARDEN_DRAIN and flies main.js's own createGarden (imported from garden.js),
so the probe's hp/state/damage-split are the model's, not a re-derivation.
balance.test.js's local GARDEN_DRAIN/W_HAIL/W_RAIN copy re-points at the
garden.js exports (A's flag on balance.test.js:38) — a future retune now
moves this suite the day it lands instead of drifting silently.
Selftest 351/0/0 on the scratch merge (b+a+c) — the constants are identical,
so no number moved; the SOURCE moved.

D's live replay caught landmine 1: bench.js read def.wind.venturi off the
STORM def where a venturi never lives (it is SITE data, main.js:453), and the
probes never attempted it — every site_02 bench number was funnel-off, the
third harness to make B's Sprint-11 mistake. Verifying the fix exposed
landmine 2: the tools remapped anchors to a static sway:()=>pos, freezing the
gum tree whose sway is the dynamic load a tr1 rig eats (ablation on the $80
line's q4: 1.02 funnel-off/static, 1.03 funnel-on/static, 1.24 funnel-on/real
anchors). Backyard numbers matched D's UI to the decimal precisely because
p1..p4 are posts — both landmines are no-ops there.
Fix: windForSite(stormDef, siteDef, anchors) in weather.js is the one shared
wind builder (venturi + shelters, exactly main.js's wiring); all garden_bench
tools build wind through it, fly world.anchors themselves via a re-pointable
wind proxy, print the venturi in their headers, and drop the phantom 12 s
settle (commit->attach->storm is one keypress, and the settle skewed storm
sampling via SailRig's internal clock). c.test.js pins the helper with B's
strictly-raises assert against the real shipped funnel (mutation-checked).
Corrected numbers: $80 line wildnight 91.9 with q4 at 1.24-vs-1.2 rating - a
knife edge the real game falls off (D UI: q3+q4 break, 39.8 TATTERED; D's UI
is canonical there, and a corner over its rating is not a safe line either
way). Buster verdict stands (95.2 bench / 97.9 D live). Icenight 9 DEAD 2/4.
Bench still under-reads UI peaks ~5-15% on site_02 - residual in the pool,
stated in THREADS. Separation-target site_02 example withdrawn to A.

- New asserts: M reaches the real bus / is only advertised when real;
anchor census now 13 (5 posts). Selftest 341/0/0.
